"Ngibing" (Sundanese: means dancing) is an experimental stop motion animation called Animateutik (words combination: animation and batik). Animateutik is the first animation in Indonesia and the world that consists of 170 images that are done entirely using hand drawn batik techniques on cotton cloths. The idea of Animateutik came in 2008 which was inspired by The Old Man and the Sea (Alexander Petrov's painting animation). Meanwhile, the making of Animateutik was started in 2018 and finished in 2020 for only two minutes length. Ngibing shows the story of the evolution of "dots" that move like dancing into forms of living things and the natural world in a Tiga-Negerian batik color style.
